Footballer Giuliano Galoppo has showered praise on Rafael Nadal. The new Sao Paulo signing said he likes Nadal a lot because he has the ability to recover from mistakes and mental strength. Nadal is well known for his ability to bounce back despite being on the back foot and always has a never-give-up attitude on the court.
The Spaniard is mentally very strong as he has bounced back from career-threatening injuries. Nadal feels it is always important to focus on the next point in tennis, no matter what was the result of the previous point as it is a game of small margins, which can have a deep impact on the result. The veteran has ticked the right boxes in his glorious career and he has done a fine job.
Nadal is regarded as one of the best players in the history of the game and has won 22 Majors in his illustrious career, which is the most for any Men’s tennis player. The 36-year-old has a 35-3 record in the ongoing season despite struggling with a number of injuries.
Giuliano Galoppo said he draws inspiration from Rafael Nadal for his ability to bounce back from injuries after having returned to action himself.
Galoppo said as quoted by TyC sports, “Nadal is very important. I like him a lot because I see his ability to recover from mistakes, and mental strength, and that is something that helps one to make a path. At the time I had a long injury that I was able to overcome, and that is why I feel identified, I feel very strong, and it is a great inspiration that I continue to see day by day.”
Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal recently made it to the semifinal of Wimbledon but he had to pull out of the tournament due to a muscle tear in his abdomen, which he suffered during his quarterfinal clash against Taylor Fritz. Earlier, Nadal had won his record-extending 14th title at Roland-Garros before winning the Australian Open.
Nadal will now be seen in action in the US Open series.
