Ferrari already announced their lunch, which would place on the 11th of February at a city very close to their company there in Northern Italy. They lead the lunch calendar because, according to them, it would give them time to put in finishing touches and prepare for the tests.
Now, Redbull has announced that they would be revealing theirs on February 12, a day after Ferrari’s lunch. The car, dubbed the RB16, would have a Honda engine, and some other modifications, to improve on the 2019 model, and earn them more victories.
The launch would take place on the same day as Renault’s in Paris and Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon would be the ones leading the event, showing us the power of the new car. Albon is new to the line up and his place is not guaranteed after beyond this season as Red Bull gives us a different lineup for the third year in a row.
Elsewhere, Mercedes would be gifting us a true gift on Valentine’s day as they launch the W11, the car that would capitalize on their success of 2019. Mercedes had a very good last season with Lewis Hamilton being crowned driver for the fifth time last year, while they also won their sixth constructors’ title. The launch is set to take place at Silverstone, in a private test.
Alpha Tauri would also reveal their car on the 14th, as McLaren launches theirs a day before. The 17th is for Racing Point, which will soon be sponsored by Aston Martin once their contract with Red Bull expires, and Williams. Haas and Alfa Romeo take the stage last as they both release on the 19th.
