Real Madrid, and specifically manager Zinadine Zidane, have reportedly expressed some interest in Tottenham star, Son Heung-min, following an impressive 2020 campaign.
Partly due to needing to replace production from the likes of Eden Hazard, Real Madrid are supposedly considering the 29-year-old.
Son has been nearly un-guardable in the Premier League with 14 goals and seven assists — one half of one of the best duos in the game (Son/Harry Kane).
While all signs indicate Tottenham will do everything possible to keep a hold of Son, there is some history between the two sides. Tottenham did get back £85.3 million for Gareth Bale in 2013 and Daniel Levy, chairman, just might try to pull off a similar cash-grab.
According to TransferMarkt, Son is the fourth-most valuable left winger — behind Neymar, Sadio Mane, and Raheem Sterling.
Must-Watch Alert: We’ll be tuned into Tottenham’s matchup with Leeds this weekend given the extra rest Son and his side got after the Fulham match was postponed. Leeds boasts the second-worst defense in the Premier League; we might be in for a high-scoring affair.
