English Premier League clubs Wolves and Newcastle are being reported to be interested in Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
The Arsenal and England defender at the youth level is being rumored to be interested in leaving the club.
The defender had 32 matches under his belt for the Emirates side last season and was part of the FA Cup triumph against Chelsea.
Mikel Arteta’s side is undergoing a rebuilding process, and Maitland-Niles is valued at £20m, which may be enough to seal a deal for the defender as the club is ready to entertain offers.
Everton are also said to be interested in the player whose contract runs till 2023 at the Emirates Stadium.
Meanwhile, Freddie Ljungberg has left his role as the Assistant manager of Arsenal after helping the Gunners win the Emirates FA Cup.
The 43-year-old took charge of the club on an interim basis after Unai Emery left in November 2019 but remained as part of the backroom staff.
“I have been involved with this club on and off since 1998 and am grateful for all the opportunities they have given me both as a player and as a coach, I wish Mikel and all the team every success for the season ahead. Thanks also to the fans for their constant support and for always being by my side. I hope we will all meet again soon.” said Ljungberg.
The Gunners had previously seen the head of football at the club, Raul Sanllehi, leave his post, which he joined after moving in from Barcelona in February 2018.
He will be replaced by Vinai Venkatesham, who has been at the club since 2010.
Arsenal had a disappointing 2019-20 English Premier League season after finishing in 8th position but managed to salvage the season with an FA Cup triumph against Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium.
