West Ham has become in recent years one of the strongest teams in the Premier League and has kept fighting for the top positions in the table.
Although this season has not started very well, and they are at the bottom of the table without being able to score points in two games, the club aspires to qualify for European competitions.
To meet its objectives, the club remains very active in the transfer market in search of reinforcements.
Thilo Kehrer’s transfer from Paris Saint-Germain was announced this week for an undisclosed amount.
In his four seasons at the Parc des Princes, the 25-year-old defender played 128 games for PSG, scoring four goals, providing two assists, and winning, among other titles, three French league championships.
The hammers communicated it on their website, along with some statements by the footballer. “I’m excited to come to the Premier League. It’s the best league in the world,” said the center-back.
David Moyes also welcomed his new footballer: “He is a talented player, who can play in various defensive positions, adding strength and depth to our current options.”
Business with PSG does not seem to be over, as it has been revealed that the Hammers have made an offer for Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Navas, 35, has yet to feature in PSG’s first team and has been relegated to a supporting role since Donnaruma’s arrival.
The Hammers are willing to pay Navas a higher salary than Napoli, the other club interested in the goalkeeper’s services.
