Kick-Off Time: 8:30 PM
Date: Friday, September 13, 2019.
Venue: Estádio do Bonfim (Setúbal)
It’s another cracking weekend after the international break in the Primera Liga. We take a look at both teams taking each other this weekend.
While at present both are placed in the bottom half of the table, we take into account how the last season has turned out. Holding a lead of 15 points over the fifth spot, Braga had finished fourth in the table and qualified for the Europa Competition, whereas, Setúbal was just two spots and four points away from relegation.
As it stands on the log, it seems okay for the hosts and a temporary problem for the visitors. Vitoria Setúbal is so far winless this season and is yet to open their goal-scoring account. In fact, they are one of two teams; however, to have a single goal.
On the other hand, Braga had to deal with both Benfica and Sporting Lisbon early on in this campaign, which is solely the reason for their current position in the league standings at the lower part of the log.
Vitoria Setúbal vs. Braga Head to Head (h2h)
Braga won their last two matches
Setúbal has failed to score in their previous three games
17 wins of the last 19 games went to Braga
Seven of the last nine wins at this venue has been in favor of the visitors.
Prediction
Vitoria Setúbal were lucky to avoid relegation, and they are on course to repeat that feat again this season. Presently they are yet to score this season. And as expected they are yet to win a match since the start of this campaign. Braga suffering from a similar predicament, they are also yet to win, but theirs is understandable owing to the fact that they have faced the best two teams early this season.
However, after their slow start, the visitors will be eager to get back on track by making a statement with an emphatic win over their host.
