Chelsea winger, Victor Moses, is set to link up with his former boss Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.
According to reports, Conte is unsatisfied with his wing-backs, Valentino Lazaro and Cristiano Biraghi, prompting the transfer rumour.
Although Manchester United’s former captain, Ashley Young has moved to Inter, Conte still wants his former player to add to the width of the team.
Chelsea coach, Frank Lampard have also confirmed Moses’ imminent departure. According to the former England international, the Nigerian winger is coming back to Chelsea and go somewhere else.
This is coming on the heels of reports that Moses will be leaving the Turkish side, Fenerbahce within hours for an Inter medical.
The Nerazzurri would have signed Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola as well, but the deal collapsed due to a disagreement in the Inter hierarchy, which turned the attention to Moses.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Chelsea’s game against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, Lampard confirmed that talks are ongoing over the imminent loan move to the Italian giant.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, an agreement has been reached between the two clubs, with Moses linking up with his former boss on loan with an option to buy worth €10m.
Since joining Fenerbahce, Moses has only played seven times throughout the season.
Meanwhile, Manchester United won’t be able to recall Alexis Sanchez from his loan with the club.
The Red Devil would have recalled the Chilean, who recently returned to action from injury amidst the injury crisis it is facing in the attack.
Presently, striker Marcus Rashford is out of action due to injury. According to reports, the English man will be out in the long term due to a double stress fracture to his back.
It could be recalled that the Reds had sold Romelu Lukaku to Inter in the summer and loaned out Sanchez to the same team for the whole season without a replacement for either striker.
Evening Standard, however, gathered that the Premier League side wouldn’t succeed in bringing back the 31-year-old back to England due to a lack of a recall clause inserted into the loan deal.
Sanchez will, therefore, see out the remaining part of the season at the San Siro.
