Karim Benzema and Sergio Ramos scored in the 25th and 33rd minutes, respectively, as Real Madrid took the match by the scruff of the neck to take a 2-goal lead.
However, Lautaro Martinez pulled one back for Inter Milan just two minutes after Sergio Ramos’ header.
Ivan Perisic leveled the score in the second half in the 68th minutes, but it was Real Madrid’s youngsters and substitutes who combined to get the winning goal.
Vinicius Junior set up Rodrygo with ten minutes left on the watch, and the 19-year-old Brazilian forward finished well.
Earlier on, Atletico Madrid drew 1-1 with Locomotiv Moscow. Tomorrow, Sevilla will host Krasnodar, and Barcelona will welcome Dynamo Kyiv to the Camp Nou.

His third goal came after Salah and Mane had scored early second-half goals within the first 4 minutes of the restart.
Atlanta striker Duvan Zapata thought he had scored the Italian side’s consolation goal in stoppage time, but his goal was ruled out for offside.
Liverpool would return to English Premier League action at the weekend when they travel to Manchester to face City at the Etihad stadium.
Coincidentally, Liverpool’s weekend opponents Manchester City also got a win in the UEFA Champions League against Greek champions Olympiacos.
Manchester City beat Olympiacos 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium, although the Citizens were without star striker Sergio Aguero.
Spanish forward Ferran Torres opened the scoring in the 12th minute, but Pep Guardiola’s side failed to add another in the first half.
The Premier League side missed a lot of chances before substitute Gabriel Jesus scored the 2nd goal 10 minutes from time.
Late substitute Joao Cancelo was able to get a goal of his despite just coming into the game with 8 minutes left to play.
