Tottenham Boss Says Players Believe in Him

Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is in the hot seat after the club lost three consecutive games in the Premier League.

Nuno has a lot of pressure to get a victory that will boost the morale of the players and fans. But despite the pressure and poor results, Nuno says the players still trust him and his vision for Spurs.

During the interview before the match for the Europa Conference League, Nuno stated the following:

“There’s no doubts about that because we work together every day, we prepare together and these moments we need to stick together and the belief is the first step to do things and we have it.

“You have to realize sometimes it’s not possible. Sometimes opponents is better than you and you have to be humble to give credit and sometimes you don’t perform.

“Sometimes the plan is no good. The belief in all of us is here. ”

The poor performance of Spurs in September surprised everyone since in August Nuno was named Premier League Manager of the Month, and during that month, they managed to beat the current champion Manchester City.

During the press conference, Nuno said that he does not let criticism affect him: “The judgment, and the criticism, and the opinion and all of that is all part of it. And we have to deal with that, we have to deal with that.

“That doesn’t interfere with the way we work, it can only distract us. I’m very simple, telling you: my focus is how can we improve, how can we improve.”
