Thiago Motta could become Juventus manager once he signs his contract while holidaying in Portugal. Motta, who won’t be in charge of Bologna next season, is traveling there by Harley Davidson from Bologna.
Having said several times that he would not be extending his stay on the Bologna bench, the tactician also said he might take his motorbike on a trip through Barcelona to visit his father and brother, then to Cascais in Portugal for his family home.
The tactician has now embarked on a journey covering over 2,300km as he set off on his beloved Harley Davidson from Bologna.
This was revealed by his wife, Angela Lee Motta, who posted a video of the trip from the back of his bike to her Instagram Stories.
The former Inter Milan midfielder has reached Madrid. Considering the timing, it is reported that Juventus will get him to sign the contract while he is on vacation in Portugal.
Close sources said Juventus have already prepared a deal until June 2027 with a salary worth up to €5m per season, including various bonuses and add-ons.
In another development, Juventus joined the clubs that were interested in Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
Although La Liga giant Atletico Madrid want the Italy international, the right-back wants to remain in Italy, putting Juventus in a ‘pole position.’
The Partenopei would be willing to sell him for a suitable offer, and Di Lorenzo wants to leave the Stadio Maradona this summer.
Although new coach Antonio Conte may want to keep Di Lorenzo at Napoli, the club’s communication has irritated the player and his agent, who has reiterated in the last few days that his client will be leaving the club. Gazzetta reported that Inter are also interested in the Napoli defender, while Atletico have already made a preliminary approach.
