Barcelona star Sergio Busquets has confirmed that AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié will move to the Nou Camp.
Speaking with RAC1, the Spaniard expressed confidence in the Ivorian, saying he will help the team.
He further stated that the Ivorian has to fit in with the coach, who has surely seen him and signed him.
Expressing his delight in his team, which is now becoming stronger since their exit, Busquets said having seen Kessie play, he hardly loose the ball, and he’s physically strong.
Kessié became a free agent as she refused to commit his future to Milan and signed a four-year deal with Barcelona. It was gathered that the 25-year-old has already undergone his medical with the La Liga giants. He will become a Barcelona player after scoring 36 goals in 214 appearances with the Rossoneri during his time at the club, delivering 16 assists.
He will never forget Milan fans’ last few home games as Kessié had claimed in the summer that he wanted to remain at Milan forever, adding that he was ready to sign a new deal with the club.
Report from Italy said the Rossoneri have begun looking for a replacement and Lille’s Renato Sanches is their No.1 target to strengthen the midfield. Alessio Romagnoli is also expected to leave the club at the end of his contract in June.
In another development, Napoli could sign Kvhicha Kvaratskhelia. This is following Dinamo Batumi’s press statement that he is no longer owned by Rubin Kazan.
The 21-year-old Georgia international is a utility player. H can play attacking roles on the left, right, or supporting a striker.
There was a high asking price on his head before. But this has changed with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, allowing foreign players to leave their clubs and go elsewhere.
Kvaratskhelia became a Dinamo Batumi on March 24. It had been assumed this was a loan, but it seems as if the situation is very different.
