This contest seems to be a tight and mouthwatering one, as just only three-point separates both sides.
Leipzig has remained unbeaten in the Bundesliga.since the close of January. Julian Naggelsmann side has only lost there of their 32 league matches so far this season boasting of a brilliant record even ahead of champions Bayern Munich.
However, too many draws have cost Leipzig on their way to challenging for the title. But they are currently locked in a battle to secure the runners up spot on the league table.
Since the return of the Bundesliga in May, RB Leipzig has drawn four and won three of their seven matches with the latest draw in a game against Fortuna Dusseldorf on Wednesday night as it ended in a two-all draw. Another fact is that Leipzig has to brace up for life without Timo Werner, a he looks set for a move to Chelsea in London after he agreed on a move.
Leipzig 2019/2020 season will end on the 29th of June, and they must be able to get maximum points if they are to topple Dortmund in the second position.
Dortmund, on the other hand, will need this match the most after falling to a shock defeat in the side of Mainz05 on Wednesday night, and more salt was added to their injuries as Bayern secured a 1-0 win over Werder Bremen which gifted them the Bundesliga title.
With 20 wins out of 32 matches in the Bundesliga this season Lucien Favre’s men still need to make sure they get a win to cement the second spit behind Bayern as Leipzig will chase them to the end
The reverse fixture between these two ended in a three-all draw, and tomorrow’s take promises to be showcase a lot of goals as well.
