French media outlet have reported that Les Parisiens are planning to bring a flexible defender to fortify their backline, and RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele is their target. Mukiele, who has been impressive this season can play as a central defender and a right-back.
There are a number of reasons why Paris Saint-Germain could be in the market for a new center-back in the summer transfer window. Sergio Ramos isn’t playing much due to his injuries, while Presnel Kimpembe has been inconsistent and is linked to move to Chelsea, while Abdou Diallo has an uncertain future.
As a result, the Ligue 1 champions are keen on adding a France international defender. Foot Mercato also reported that PSG and Manchester United are also monitoring the situation regarding RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele.
When it comes to the possible transfer fee, Mukiele is valued at €25-million, and considering he only has one year on his contract after this season he can be sold by his club now.
In other news, indications have shown that Paris Saint-Germain talisman Kylian Mbappé is inching closer to his dream move to Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old has never hidden his admiration for Los Blancos, having said it is the dream of every player to play for the 13 times Champions League winners.
Cadena COPE reports that the World Cup winner met with Real Madrid this week to discuss the outlines of a possible contract.
It was gathered that the meeting was held at a restaurant in Madrid between Mbappe and his teammate Achraf Hakimi. This couldn’t just be a meal with friends alone, as the Blaugrana could announce a deal soon.
Foot Mercato had reported that the new La Liga champions and the striker’s representatives are very close to an agreement around the sharing of the player’s image rights.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are expected to meet Mbappe’s representatives during the week as the subject of discussion is expected to be salary, sign-on fee, and other financial details.
It is expected that the world cup winner will finally sort out his future and concentrate on his career ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
At this moment, it is better to decide on his future before the tournament begins.
