Reports have emanated that Paris Sainte-Germain star Kylian Mbappe could move to the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Hilal.
According to AFP and Goal, PSG is ready to allow the PIF-funded Saudi Arabia to entertain transfer talks with the 24-year-old
It is reported that the bid from the Saudi club is a world-record €300m.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that the Riyadh-based outfit hashad submitted a €300m bid for the out-of-favour Mbappé.
The 24-year-old record goalscorer at PSG was made available for transfer after he refused to sign a new deal at the club with his current contract to expire next summer, and the club is not ready to let the prized asset leave for free.
Mbappe left out of the Luis Enrique-led squad that flew to Japan on Saturday for their pre-season summer tour in Asia.
Since the France skipper is adamant he will play for PSG next season while refusing to sign a new contract with the French champions, it is now left to see if he will join the Saudi club as his preferred club is Real Madrid, having reportedly struck a deal to move to Real Madrid next year as a free agent.
According to reports, Al-Hilal made a formal €300m offer by letter, but such a record-shattering deal could only happen with the agreement of Mbappé.
With the look of things, the move will depend on the 24-year-old agreeing to the move, as he is yet to express any interest in moving to the fast-growing and spendthrift Saudi league for a lucrative bid.
Should Mbappe leave, PSG have been linked with some strikers. They include Harry Kane, who Bayern Munich and Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic are also courting.
A move away from the club will surely bring a replacement for Mbappe, as PSG will invest part of the money in transfers.
