French Ligue 1 outfit Nice is leading the race for the in-form star Mykhaylo Mudryk.
This is amid interest from Arsenal and Brentford.
Mudryk has been in the news recently as he has been gaining more admirers across Europe.
Also interested in the winger is Everton. It’s not a surprise, as the winger has been in great form for Shakhtar Donetsk at the start of the 2022/23 campaign.
The 21-year-old set up three of the Ukrainian side’s four goals when they beat RB Leipzig in the Champions League group stages last month. He also scored in the draw against Celtic.
Mudryk, a Ukraine international, would be a great signing for any side.
Speaking on Football Insider, former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell believes Mudryk would be “devastating” for the Gunners.
While noting that Mudryk is the player everyone is looking at, Campbell said he is performing in the Champions League against top teams.
“He is young and could develop with this Arsenal side. I think he would be devastating in that system.”
If Arsenal makes a move for him, it won’t be a surprise if he decides to say teas after he had fueled talk of a potential move to the Emirate Stadium. The winger had admitted that he “can’t say no” to Mikel Arteta’s side.
“Shakhtar, for me, is my home. All my thoughts are only about Shakhtar,” Mudryk said last month.
“In winter, we [will] see. I think every guy dreams about [playing in the] Premier League,” he added.
Meanwhile, it would be hard to turn down if Nice could make a move in the winter with a good salary proposal.
The Ligue 1 side can sign him. According to a new report from The Sun, Nice are currently the team leading the race to sign Mudryk.
The report also states that they are ‘willing to pay £25m plus extras’ for the midfielder.
