Norwich City’s head coach, Daniel Farke, has stated that he is not fazed about his team’s league standing ahead of the midweek visit to the Saint Mary’s Stadium to face Southampton in the English Premier League on Wednesday.
The Canaries in their last two games are unbeaten after beating Everton last week and drawing Arsenal at the weekend at Carrow Road.
However, despite the fact that the improvement in the Canaries form after a period of an eight game winless streak, Norwich still sits in 19th on the log but with three points away from safety.
Wednesday’s opponents Southampton, are not anywhere better sitting just one point and one spot above Daniel Farke’s men.
After Losing to bottom side Watford weeks ago, Norwich were condemned, and according to Fark Norwich are in a better situation than Watford are after sacking their coach, Sanchez Flores.
Furthermore, he explained that it is a misplaced clarity to start permuting the standings after the match but says all three points are important to the Canaries’ survival
He also believes the points garnered from their last two games can give the team and its player the right mentality and mood for the Southampton clash.
Daniel Farke believes that fans and critics’ opinions changes based on results gathered and says fans should not be too bothered about the current position of the team.
Meanwhile, just like Norwich City, sometimes has also recovered from a torrid run of form to gain impressive results in recent weeks
They also had gathered results against Arsenal after drawing the Gunners 2-2 before a slim victory against Watford, which preceded the sack of Quique Sanchez Flores.
Meanwhile, Daniel Farke expects some sort of momentum building from the Saints as well as an aggressive style of play as they aim to pull away from the relegation zone.
Norwich City are backed at 4.43 to see off Southampton, while the Saints are fancied at 1.80 to win it.
