Norwich City will welcome Birmingham City to the Carrow Road on Tuesday with the possibility of having Todd Cantwell back in the team.
The Canaries have so far had an indifferent start to the season back in the Championship, having lost two won two and drew another.
After a 2-1 win at Rotherham at the weekend returned the Canaries to winning ways, they will hope for some consistencies when they host a Birmingham side that has won just once and drawn three others of their 5 games so far, losing the last one against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.
Manager Daniel Farke stated that Todd Cantwell, a transfer subject for a large chunk of the offseason, would have been a part of the team during the weekend if he was fit.
He further stated that his quality is essential for the team and will play for the Canaries in the coming weeks.
“Todd was not able to sprint on Friday otherwise he would have been in my plans [for Rotherham]. The international break was helpful for him. He was able to reflect. We had a long and honest conversation about everything that has gone on and his mindset in the last week was much better. But we had this little setback with some bruising. He has too much quality not to play an important role for us in the next week.” Farke said
After the visit of Birmingham City on Tuesday, Norwich City will host Wycombe Wanderers at the Carrow Road at the weekend.
Norwich City sits 11th on the log with 7 points from 5 games; the team has scored five goals and conceded five goals.
Birmingham are Sixteenth on the log with just a pointless.
