Since joining VfB Stuttgart from AS Monaco at a young age, Enzo Millot has thrived with the Bundesliga side.
Since leaving the Principality club in 2021, he has played 86 times for the Bundesliga side, scoring 15 goals and registering 17 assists.
This has increased his value in the transfer market, as the 22-year-old reportedly wants to move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Apart from the increase in market value, his recent form has put him in the conversation for a call-up to the France squad.
However, a call-up to the senior side may have to wait for Millot, who has captained the U21 side and played a starring role in the Olympic Games this summer.
A move away from Stuttgart may be forthcoming in the near future, and PSG, his boyhood club, would be a good destination.
Speaking to Free Foot last week, the midfielder said that he won’t “close the door to any club,” indicating that he is seemingly ready for a move, as confirmed by Florian Plettenberg, who adds that Millot is now prepared for the next step in his career.
Stuttgart will only sell for a significantly high offer in January. The German club is not in a solid position to negotiate on his transfer in the summer with a release clause, which is thought to be valued between €18-20m, coming into effect.
Meanwhile, PSG have denied the rumours from the Spanish media that they made an offer of €250 million for Lamine Yamal over the summer.
L’Équipe reported PSG are not interested in the Barca youngster.
The rumor emerged earlier following a statement made by Enric Masip, an advisor to Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, during an interview with El Chiringuito. Masip told the Spanish outlet that the president rejected an offer of €250 million he had never considered from France.
Reacting, the club told L’Équipe that they deny this story “a million percent.” They added that it would have been impossible for the club to make such an offer over the summer as they could not afford that amount.
