Manchester United summer signing Mason Mount made his debut for the Red Devils as they played their first pre-season fixture on Wednesday in Oslo, Norway, against Leeds United in a 2-0 win.
Mason Mount, who was handed jersey number seven at Old Trafford upon signing a long-term contract after a £60M move from Chelsea, played all ninety minutes.

Raphael Varane partnered with a returning Lisandro Martinez in the defense. Martinez’s last game for Manchester United was in the 2-2 draw against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League first leg at Old Trafford in Old Trafford.
Aaron Wan Bissaka and youngster Alvaro Fernandez completed the defense as Kobe Mainoo, Hannibal Mejbri, Ahmad Diallo, and Omar Forson got the chance to play for the first team.
While Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount completed the starting eleven, Fred missed the game as a precaution against an injury, according to a statement from the club before kick-off.
“Fred’s omission is purely a precaution and because he is managing his workload after returning for training at Carrington last week.” the statement read.
Several other youngsters for a substitute role in the second half as both teams switched their whole starting lineup in the second half. However, Noam Emeran got the first goal for Manchester United in the 67th minute, while Joe Hughill scored the second in the 81st minute of the encounter.
Manchester United’s next preseason game will be against Lyon on the 19th of June, with six preseason matches after that left to be played before their first Premier League fixture of the season against Wolves on the 14th of August.
