Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has gone on to name three players whose signing can help Manchester United to win the Premier League title this season.
Neville believes that the signing of players like Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane is going to make a real difference to the Old Trafford based outfit this season. He stated his opinion during a Q&A session on Twitter during which he answered various questions asked by the fans.
Each of these players are going to hit Manchester United’s purse quite hard but they can still think about bringing at least two of them, Kane and Sancho, to Old Trafford when the summer transfer window opens.
The Red Devils finished second in the Premier League table this season and the right signings can definitely give them that extra push to win the title. They have been interested in getting Kane and Sancho for a long time as well.
Kane also wants a move away from Tottenham Hotspur right now and that works out quite well for United. However, Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in the English forward who is going to cost close to £150 million.
A prolific striker like Kane could change Manchester United’s fortunes in a great way but that could hit their banks quite hard. Their money could be well spent in getting other players, though. Raphael Varane will be a very good addition to a defence which has been pretty inconsistent in the last couple of seasons.
Sancho, on the other hand, has been an equally prolific scorer in the Bundesliga as Kane in the Premier League. And United could get him at half of Kane’s price too. So it would be a much better deal for them as that would allow them to go for Varane too.
