The football world has been abuzz in recent weeks due to the ongoing speculation of where 19-year-old Jude Bellingham will end up next summer. The talented midfielder has already made a name for himself and is now being courted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs. With several potential suitors in the picture, Bellingham remains tight-lipped on who he’d ultimately sign with, leaving his future in the air.
The teen sensation has had quite a successful season so far and looks set to add even more accomplishments to his resume before the season’s end. His impressive performances have caught the eyes of top teams such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and others – all of whom are eager for Bellingham’s signature.
But it seems that the Liverpool players and Belligham’s teammates in the English national team took advantage of the time in the World Cup in Qatar to convince the player to sign for the reds.
Reds captain Jordan Henderson stood with Bellingham during an interview where he praised him heavily, saying: “I’ve said it many a time. He’s a one-off.
“We need to let him enjoy playing football, he’s only 19.
“He’s been incredible at this tournament but [also] for a long period of time now with Dortmund.
“He’s carried it on into this tournament and hopefully he can just carry on going from strength to strength and being a big player for England.”
At the end of Henderson’s investment, a journalist immediately asked “And Liverpool in the future?” Both players withdrew without answering the question and Bellingham was just heard to say “You’ve ruined it for all of us! You’ve ruined it, man.”
In a separate interview in Qatar, Bellingham lauded Henderson’s leadership qualities which shows that the two players have developed a good relationship.
The young Englishman said: “He’s always kind of the loudest player on the pitch, which I love. You always know you’re in a game.
“He doesn’t let you switch off for one second, and I think the best thing about him is he will give you a bit of detail to help you, maybe after you’ve done something negative.
But he’s the first person if you’ve done something positive to let you know.
“His performance of him [against Senegal] was incredible. He ran the game, scored a key goal, and it was a pleasure to play with him yet again.
