His contribution to the team this season have been fantastic, while Neymar have contributed goals.
After his huge contribution to PSG’s win against Brest over the weekend, teammate Achraf Hakimi praised the six times world footballer of the year for his contribution that secured maximum points for the Paris club.
PSG recorded a narrow 1-0 win against Brest in Saturday’s Ligue 1 tie to remain on top of the league table. The win also maintains their unbeaten status this season.
Messi’s incredible assist for Neymar was the highlight of the match where a single goal secured three points for the Paris club. The Argentine captain picked up the ball from midfield and lobbed it for Neymar, who slotted the ball into the far corner to give PSG all three points.

Not doubting Messi’s lack of cohesion in the team, the Morrocan noted that his assist at the weekend was the perfect example of that.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Hakimi said when he makes the call, Messi does not give it because he has seen another player to whom he can pass.
Not seeing this as a problem, he said such performance led to PSG taking the maximum points.
The Ligue 1 leaders have 19 points. This is followed by Olympique Marseille with the same point but less goal difference.
