Match Preview
League leaders Paris Saint Germain will be looking to stretch their lead on top of the Ligue 1 log as they look to welcome 13th placed Nice to the Parc de Princes on Saturday.
The Parisiens secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Lyon while Angers lost by the same scoreline as the league took a break with international fixtures taking over for the week.
Now, with the international break over, the tussle for the title in Ligue 1 continues. PSG last time out saw how Christophe Galtier’s men grind out a win courtesy of Lionel Messi’s strike. As a matter of fact, that same fixture could have ended in a draw after Alexandre Lacazette’s poor miss heading wide Donnarumma’s goal.
OGC Nice, on the other hand, would have themselves to blame after their loss to Angers. Jean- Clair Todibo was sent for an early shower after seeing red as early as the 9th minute before finally surrendering to a Nabil Bentaleb goal to hand the visitors the three points.
Without no emotions attached to a reunion, Galtier looks set to face his former employers. However, this is a game PSG will look to get a win as they’ve never defeated Nice in their past three meetings.

Aside from injuries, PSG duo Marco Veratti and Presnel Kimpembe will be suspended for this weekend’s fixture. Renato Sanches is another candidate set to miss out as well.
Nice will be without Welsh international Aaron Ramsey as he continues to recover from a Hamstring injury. While Marcin Bulka might come in between the sticks to replace summer signing Kasper Schmeichel for disciplinary issues.
