Celtic cruised to a 5-0 win in that game, and the right-back performed so well, giving opposition defenders a tough time with constant dangerous crosses into the box. This performance made him a fan favourite instantly as they always chant his name in the stands.
Kennedy told reporters in an interview that Jeremie’s coming was a big plus for the club. ” his talent and attitude are phenomenal. Our thoughts initially were to spend him, build him up and hopefully make him one of the best in the future”.
“But to be honest, seeing him over a few periods of weeks and daily was impressive. His performance in training and games is top-notch at that level and age. I have been observing him a lot in practice, and I said to Lennon and Duff that we couldn’t hold him back but to give him a chance”.
