The latest and sixth round of coronavirus testing in the Premier League has been carried out, and no positive test was recorded.
There were 1,195 tests in this round of testing, and none returned positive.
The League made the decision to test players twice weekly as part of the plans to return the league and this week’s testing took place on the 4th and 5th of June.
Since the start of the testing in the Premier League, people have tested positive from the 6274 tests carried out so far.
The Premier League has 92 matches to be played after the league was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the league will now resume behind closed doors with Sheffield United travelling to Aston Villa on the 17th of June while Manchester City, and Arsenal will also play on the same day.
Already, teams have started intra-team friendlies while Arsenal thrashed Charlton 6-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Eddie Nketiah scored a second-half hat-trick while Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Joe Willock also found the net.
Other teams including Manchester United, Chelsea, Norwich City, West Ham, Newcastle and Liverpool all had intra-team friendlies with the coaches officiating.
Meanwhile, Liverpool top the league table with 25 points away from second place Manchester City with nine rounds of matches left.
The league leaders are said to be interested in Wolves winger, Adam’s Traore. The Spanish 24-year old has impressed the team tutored by Nino Espirito Santo.
Traore was signed from Middlesbrough for 18 million pounds in 2018, and he has contributed to 11 goals in the Premier League alone for Wolves, scoring four times and assisting seven times.
Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Norwich City sit in the relegation zone.
