Ligue 1 champions, PSG has made contact about Lyon forward, Memphis Depay.
The Paris club is believed to want to take advantage of his contract situation with the club. Depay has 12 months left on his current deal.
According to France Football, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo is interested in bringing the Dutch international to the club during this transfer window.
Although only initial contacts have been made, it is yet to be known if Leonardo will move further to bid for him.
Other clubs monitoring the situation include Barcelona, Dortmund and AC Milan.
Still, in the Paris club, Leonardo is also tracking Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar as a potential replacement for former captain, Thiago Silva, who left the club to Chelsea on a free transfer.
The representative of the 25-year-old Slovakian defender and representatives of the club is currently in talks. According to Sky Sport Italia, this is in view to a potential signing despite not making a concrete offer for him yet.
In another development, Rennes might be planning to make a move for Sassuolo winger, Jérémie Boga.
This is judging from the comment recently made by the clubs’ manager, Julien Stéphan. The tactician wants the Ivorian because of his penetration, pace and ability to finish off moves.
Boga had a successful season with the club as he became a menace to defenses in the Serie A in the last season. Out of the 28 Serie A games, he scored 11 goals and two assists.
In an interview with Téléfoot Chaine, Stéphan confirmed his interest in the 23-year-old Ivorian, who can play in the midfield and flanks as well.
Having been on loan with Rennesfew seasons ago, he is a known lad to the club.
His performance has drawn the attention of top clubs. So, Stéphan, who was Rennes’ reserve manager while Boga was at the club, is hoping that the Ivorian joins the club in the coming months.
They will have to compete against the likes of Napoli, Atalanta, Sevilla and Dortmund.
Meanwhile, Toulouse, Guingamp and Utrecht have opened talks for Yassin Fortune, who is currently FC Sion’s player.
The winger, who had a stint in Arsenal and RC Lens academies wants to leave Sion, with the hope of playing in a more stable environment. Foot Mercato reports that this was because the Swiss club has had eight managers in the last two years.
The Ligue 2 clubs have therefore been in talks with the former French U20 international. He is under contract with Sion until June 2022.
