The latest reports from Italy say that Juventus has made Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani a top transfer target.
The France international has become the club’s first-choice transfer target for their attacking department in the January window because a deal with the Ligue 1 champions looks easier to pull off than with Manchester United or West Ham for Joshua Zirkzee or Niclas Füllkrug.
According to reports, Juventus are on the lookout for a new attacker in January to strengthen Thiago Motta’s options as Dusan Vlahovic remains the only fit and available center-forward in the first-team squad.
Although Motta would have wanted to reunite with Zirkzee- a target for the Bianconeri for several weeks, reports say a deal with Manchester United is proving difficult to negotiate, largely due to the €42.5m transfer fee the Red Devils spent on him in the summer.
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio said that a deal with PSG looks ‘easier’ to achieve compared to talks with Man United or West Ham for Zirkzee of Niclas Füllkrug, who has also been mentioned as a potential target for the Bianconeri this week.
From the look of things, PSG won’t stop Kolo Muani from leaving the club, having been given the all-clear to leave the club this month. The French striker could leave on a loan deal with an option to buy, which would suit Juventus given their lack of available transfer funds as things stand.
Kolo Muani has found first-team action hard to come by as Luis Enrique favors Ramos as his preferred striker.
The striker scored just three goals in 14 games played for the Paris club he joined last summer from Eintracht Frankfurt.
It is now left for the Bianconeri to make a move and add depth to their squad as they begin the second half of the 2024-25 season.
