As their search for a winger continues, Juventus have been linked with two wingers, namely Francisco Conceiçao and Sporting Lisbon’Marcus Edwards.
According to reports, Juventus are closing in on a deal for Conceiçao. This is a good deal for the Turin club that is trying to spend to avoid the FIFA financial fair play hammer, as FC Porto are open to a loan with an option to buy that can become an obligation under certain conditions at €30m.
The winger is the son of former Inter, Lazio, and Parma star Sergio Conceiçao and has already made a name for himself playing under his father.
The 21-year-old would be a great addition because he can play on the right or left wing. This makes him a versatile tactical figure and would be in addition to Nico Gonzalez’s arrival from Fiorentina.
Meanwhile, Juventus will be waiting for the outcast Federico Chiesa to leave the club and probably generate some funds from his sales or probably a loan deal that will remove his name from their payroll, at least for the season.
According to A Bola, the clubs are very close to shaking hands on the agreement, as talks have been going on for a few weeks.
It was gathered that the important shift was that FC Porto agreed to make it a loan with obligation to buy only under certain circumstances. Juve now seems to be in the front row of this deal while the Portuguese side needed at least some guarantees the transfer would be completed in 2025 for the young lad whose overall deal is believed to be set at €30-35m, including add-ons.
What’s actually aiding the deal reportedly is because Conceiçao has been told he is not part of the plans under new coach Vitor Bruno, especially as his situation was tied to the controversial exit of his father from the management role.
