Juventus have officially confirmed the acquisition of Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta, as outcast Frederico Chiesa is set for a Premier League switch to Liverpool.
The Dutchman, courtesy of the fee, will become the most expensive signing in Serie A this summer. According to reports, Juventus agreed to pay La Dea a package of over €60m to secure the highly sought-after Dutchman’s signature.
Reports further said the Old Lady would pay a guaranteed fee of €51.3m over four installments, plus extra costs of around €3.4m, as well as bonuses up to €6m for a combined total of €60.7m.

Before his move to the club, Juventus had already signed pl ayers this summer. They include Francisco Conceicao on loan from Porto, Nico Gonzalez from Fiorentina, Pierre Kalulu from Milan, Khephren Thuram from Nice, Juan Cabal from Verona, Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa and Michele Di Gregorio from Monza.
The club said in a statement on its website that the Dutch international is ready “for this exciting new adventure in black and white.”
Koopmeiners made a name for himself and became one of the most exciting players in the Italian league. He scored 26 goals from 97 Serie A appearances from his attacking midfield role during his three seasons with Atalanta.
Before switching to Atalanta, he scored 43 goals in 154 appearances in all competitions with AZ Alkmaar.
