Just moments after helping England qualify for the Euro 2024 championships in Germany on Tuesday evening, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham revealed his dream as he continues an enviable start to life in the 2023/2024 season, where he continues to impress with 16 goals contributions in 13 games for club and country this season which includes 11 goals and five assists.
One of those assist came in the 3-1 victory over Italy at Wembley Stadium, which secured England’s qualification for next year’s championships in Germany. While Harry Kane scored the brace in the game, one goal in each half, it sandwiched Marcus Rashford’s 57th-minute strike, which was assisted by a quality run by Jude Bellingham from his own half before the Manchester United forward finished it off.
Bellingham’s start life at Santiago Bernabeu since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund has been inspiring, with ten goals scored in all competitions for the Los Blancos. While so many adjectives have been used to qualify his performances and many comparisons made between him and some legendary midfielders in the history of the game, Bellingham is not concerned about all of that but rather appreciates the improvement he has enjoyed as a Real Madrid player and hopes to spend the next decade or more at the Spanish capital.
“Being at Real Madrid improved me as a player, 100% guaranteed. Being around those mentalities and quality of players every day it takes you to a new level mentally, physically, and technically, and I also love the freedom Ancelotti’s giving me. I want to stay at Real Madrid for the next 10-15 years of my life. This is where I want to be. I am loving it at Real!” Bellingham said.
Bellingham will return to Spain to continue to help Real Madrid, where they stopped before the start of the international break with a La Liga fixture this weekend with a trip to Sevilla before a UCL tie away at Braga.
