Indications have shown that Paris Saint-Germain could secure the signing of Milan Skriniar.
This is following an increment in their offer for the defender.
It was gathered that the Paris club made a €65m offer, and that closed the gap with Inter for the centre-back, who is also wanted by Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United.
The latest development shows that PSG have moved well in advance and appears to have agreed on personal terms worth €8m per season with the defender.
However, Inter seem to want €70-80m for the Slovakia international. This had made the Nerazzurri reject the initial offer for being too low.
But having upped it to €60m, it is believed that both parties will soon sit to discuss the final details and reach an agreement since the gap is now small.
Both clubs now hope to resolve it with negotiations over the next couple of days.
According to reports, Inter Milan seem to have lined up Skriniar’s replacement should they sell him. The Nerazzurri are hoping to purchase Gleison Bremer from Torino.
It was also gathered that the Brazilian has promised to join the San Siro side.
They might as well negotiate with Torino for him, but Torino demanded €40m for him.
In another development, the club have confirmed the signing of Kristjan Asllani from Empoli.
It was gathered that the deal cost the Serie A side €14m. Part of the deal is that Martin Satriano will join the Tuscans on loan.
Asllani is seen as the back-up to Marcelo Brozovic in midfield as Inter continue to revamp their squad ahead of the new season.
They are signing the midfielder initially on a loan deal worth €4m with an obligation to buy for a further €10m. He could sign a contract till June 2027.
The 20-year-old was born in Albania and moved to Italy as a child to follow his father, who had arrived on a refugee boat to find work.
He graduated from Empoli academy to help them to promotion in 2019-20 before securing their Serie A status this season.
Last season, he played 23 Serie A appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
