Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t able to hit the ground running at Al Nassr after bagging a huge deal with the Saudi Arabian club. However, the Portuguese manager has been able to find form in the last few matches as he is once again showing why he is one of the best players on the planet.
Ronaldo scored his second hat-trick for the club against Damac as Rudi Garcia’s team registered a thumping 3-0 win on Saturday. The talisman revealed he is getting accustomed to the team’s players’ movements and they are also getting used to his movements and thus they are having good chemistry on the pitch.
Ronaldo told Arab television channel SSC: “I feel more adapted to the team. It’s not easy to come and in five, six, or seven games; everyone knows my movements. But I’m starting to understand their movements, and they are starting to understand my movements. Step by step, we can reach the big level.”
Ronaldo is delighted with his current form but hailed the team for their collective show.
“I’m very happy, but the most important (thing) is the team. The team did a fantastic job (against Damac); they ran; they fought. For me, the goals are important, but the most important thing is the team.”
Meanwhile, Ronaldo has scored eight goals and has provided two assists so far for Al Nassr in the ongoing Saudi Pro League. Thus, he is the joint fourth-highest goal-scorer in the league. Ronaldo will look to continue his good form for the club and also contribute to the team’s success.
Al-Nassr is currently at the top of the Saudi Pro League with 43 points after 18 matches. Rudi Garcia’s team will next take on Al-Batin, who are struggling at the bottom of the league, on Friday.
