Harry Kane is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world. His skills on the field are unmatched, and his contribution to Tottenham’s attack has been invaluable. In recent years, he has been leading the Tottenham project as their main striker with great success.
However, despite his outstanding performances, Harry Kane hasn’t been able to lead Tottenham to any major trophies in recent times. The last time they won a trophy was way back in 2008, when they lifted the league cup. Since then, they have come close on several occasions but have always fallen short.
But when it comes to personal achievements, Kane has accomplished quite a few during his stint at Spurs, and this season, he has broken a record that puts him alongside the legend Alan Shearer.
With 20 goals this season so far, Kane has joined the list of players who have scored 20 or more goals in six Premier League seasons.
There are only three names on this list.
With the high level that Kane has shown, he has been looking to move to a team that allows him to win titles and compete at the highest level. It is widely rumored that next summer, the player could seek to leave the Spurs again.
Asked about the player’s future, Tottenham coach Antonio Conte said: “I think this is a question for the club. For sure, the club wants to involve Harry Kane for the rest of his career, in my opinion.
“Because when you have this type of player, a world-class striker like him, you want him to stay here for the rest of his life.
“But then, you know football. Sometimes it’s unpredictable, but it’s not in my task to make a decision. This is the decision for the club and for Harry.”
