    Alvaro Morata (2)

Galatasaray and Como bid for Morata and Hernandez

    January 31, 2025

Late offers have been made for Milan’s strikers Alvaro Morata and Theo Hernandez, but neither of them may leave this club in the current transfer window.

This is according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, which reported that Serie A strugglers Como offered €40m to sign the Milan left-back but rejected the offer.

Hernandez, who has been reintegrated into the first team, is yet to sign a new deal.

Como’s offer is backed by a rich Indonesian owner. The club aims to maintain its top-flight status, having gained promotion last season.

Como, which began their journey from Serie D, believed they could get the France international.

It was gathered that they made the offer over the last few days when there was marked tension between Theo Hernandez and Milan hierarchy, including coach Sergio Conceicao.

The Rossoneri and the player did not consider the bid, which shows that Cesc Fabregas felt he could tempt such a star name to his club.

This shows that Hernandez is unwilling to leave the club, as there seems to be a clear-out in progress at San Siro in January. Alvaro Morata is reported to be on the verge of a transfer to Galatasaray, while Francesco Camarda is heading to Monza on loan.

Bologna also bid for Davide Calabria, whose contract is running down. He was in a very public row with coach Conceicao last week.

Meanwhile, Milan could allow Morata to leave for  Galatasaray only if Feyenoord agreed to sell Santiago Gimenez. At the same time, Victor Osimhen will remain with the Turkish club until the end of the season.

According to transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano Galatasaray were in talks with Milan for Spanish striker while Sky Sport confirmed negotiations between the two clubs.

According to the Italian broadcasters, Galatasaray offered to sign the Spain captain on loan with an option to buy, while Milan aimed for a permanent transfer.

Gimenez, a Mexican international, has already agreed to the Diavoli, but talks between the two clubs are still ongoing as Feyenoord has yet to accept the Rossoneri’s offer.
