Celtic number one shot-stopper Fraser Forster has revealed loving life at the Club. The England international has been on a run of fine form for the Club and has performed excellently well.
Forster’s career has not been a bumpy ride as it has experienced a lot of ups and downs, but the shots-stopper has admitted to loving life at Celtic Park.
Forster, when was at Premier League side Southampton, was frozen out of the team, playing only once in the 2018/19 season. Considering a goalkeeper of his calibre, that seems unfair to him. He, however, made the return to Celtic, which he felt was the best move for him. And he immediately established himself as the number which in return gave him the confidence he needed, which initially earned him a 10million pounds move to Southampton.
Player himself couldn’t hide his joy as he reaffirmed his love for the Club. When expressing himself to the Scottish media, he said; I have no idea what it is about the place. But there are a lot of beautiful people at the Club, and I work with them. I just love being here, and I enjoy it here.
At the moment, I’m a Celtic player for the year, and that’s okay. I just want to do my best for the Club as I can, and I want to make the best use of that time.” it was a tough year for me last year, but I’m glad to be enjoying my football again.” It’s not surprising to see Fraser express his love for the Club as he’s always done that.
There is something that just makes Forster fits into the Club. And it’s no surprise that he has found his happiness in the Club and football again after a year as an outcast in the Southampton first team.
Celtic continues their action in the SPFL this weekend as they host Livingston at Parkhead.
Celtic are priced at 1.15 to secure an easy win over Livingston, while Livingston are backed at 20.45 to pull a shock win.
