Brazil’s teenage sensation, 17-year-old Endrick, who is bound to join Real Madrid in the summer, has gotten his first goal at the Santiago Bernabeu without having to put on the white shirt of the Los Blancos.
The teenager scored their first senior national team goal for Brazil in their 1-0 victory over England at Wembley Stadium last week and was anticipating more goals to come after the victory in England. That game was in his third senior national team appearance, but little did he know he was going to add another one to the next fixture without even having to start for the Selecao.
Brazil faced Spain at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday for their second fixture of the March international window but Endrick started the game on the bench as a substitute and he watched on has Spain took the lead. Manchester City midfielder Rodri opened the scoring for Spain in the first 12 minutes with a penalty.
Dani Olmo made it 2-0 with nine minutes of first-half action left to be played, although the La Roja couldn’t go into the break with a clean sheet as Brazil pulled one back through another Real Madrid Star, Rodrygo.
Endrick was brought in as one of the four half-time substitutes, and it took him just 5 minutes to make his presence known. Brazil took a corner kick, and Spain failed to clear their lines as the ball bounced continually in the box before falling kindly to Endrick, who was just at the edge of the inside of the box where he stood to slam a low driven shot past Unai Simon to make the scoreline 2-2.
Meanwhile, Spain went back into the lead with a penalty im the 87th minute, which was taken and scored by Rodri, but there was enough time for a third penalty in the game, but this time for Brazil, which Lucas Pacqueta scored to end the game 3-3.
