The Gunners continue to reform the squad and bring in players who will take the club back to glory.
Mikel Arteta needs to find a striker who can put an end to the goal drought that the club has experienced in recent months.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin seems to be the right candidate to power up the Gunners’ attack. The Everton player shined last season, scoring 21 goals.
Toffees boss Rafa Benitez sees great potential in the young English player and would like him to continue at the club.
Calvert-Lewin will have to face a difficult decision as, according to experts such as Danny Mills, Everton has a better chance of winning silverware this season than Arsenal.
Mills doesn’t think it’s a good move for Dominic to go to North London right now.
“When you look at what Rafa Benitez has done, the two players he’s brought in that have really been beneficial. Mills said and added
“You look at his pedigree versus Mikel Arteta’s pedigree, I know where I’m going and who I believe is going to get it right long-term.
“Everton have got a lot of money, they’re very well backed financially, possibly moving into a new stadium sooner rather than later.
“I think Calvert-Lewin will thrive under Rafa Benitez and get even better. If he goes to Arsenal, I’m not sure.
“Have they [Arsenal] really got more chance of winning trophies? I would say Everton and Arsenal are probably on par for winning a trophy, I don’t think there’s an awful lot between it. ”
