Di Maria wants a one-year contract with an option for a second. He is planning to go back to Argentina after the 2022 World Cup, where he wants to end his career. Being a left-footer who likes playing primarily from the right-wing of attack, Di Maria can also work on the left or in a trequartista role behind the strikers.
During his final season with PSG, Di Maria scored five goals and provided nine assists in 31 competitive games.
