In recent weeks there has been much speculation about the future of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese is not in the best shape, and the overall performance of the Red Devils is also deficient.
In addition, the tension that exists between Ronaldo and coach Ralf Rangnick is evident. Ronaldo believes that the Red Devils coach does not have the level to lead the team.
CR7 has a contract with Manchester United for 2 years, but the team’s current situation could push him to seek an early exit from Old Trafford next summer.
Even though he is not in the best shape, Ronaldo is still one of the best players in the world, and of course, no shortage of candidates would be willing to receive the player in their ranks.
One of Ronaldo’s possible destinations could be PSG. The club has established itself as one of the powerhouses in European football and has one of the most expensive squads in the world.
It would be a delight to see Ronaldo play alongside Messi at the French club for many. In addition, PSG needs to find a replacement for Mbappe, who will leave the club in the summer.
But for transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Ronaldo is unlikely to make it to the Parisian club.
Di Marzio believes two of the best players of all time would struggle to play alongside one another and therefore a transfer is unlikely.
“I don’t think Messi wants to play with Ronaldo, and Ronaldo wants to play with Messi,” he told Wettfreunde.
“I don’t think PSG want the couple to play together, because the relationship between the two isn’t great. I don’t think the two want to play together and the club wants to have them together.
“I really don’t think it can happen. Surprises in football transfers are everywhere, but I don’t think that [it will happen].
Sources close to Ronaldo have commented that the Portuguese player feels that age is starting to take its toll and that the Premier League is too demanding. Still, his ambition has not faded, and he wants to continue playing at the highest level.
