With the first International break of the season gone, it’s time for each team in the Championship division to regroup and start their pursuit towards Premier League promotion.
Fulham, who were relegated back to the Championship after just a season at the top flight are up against West Bromwich Albion side led by Slavan Bilic.
Slavan Bilic experience in top-flight football is one of the reasons Scott Parker’s team should be careful and not take them lightly.
West Brom are coming into this game full of confidence having won their last match against Blackburn in a five goals thriller.
Fulham on the other side had to settle for a draw against Cardiff, a game which saw Harry Arter sent off for two bookable offenses.
Scott Parker will, however, bank on the form of star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to chip in goals as the West Bromwich Albion side has failed to keep a clean sheet this season.
The last time the two sides met at Craven Cottage the match ended in a 1-1 draw however as things have played out this season for both clubs, it’s likely for both teams to end up on the scoring sheet.
Scott Parker in his match preview has stated how he’s fully aware of West Brom’s quality as they’re a very good side who will certainly be up there.
West Brom will be without the likes of Gareth Barry, Ahmed Hegazi, Kieran Gibbs and Conor Townsend who are currently recovering from injuries.
They are no Injury concerns for Scott Parker and his team as the only absentee in the team is Harry Carter who is suspended for the match after his red card against Cardiff last time out.
Both teams will be hoping to make a statement as a victory for Fulham will lift them up in the League standings as they currently occupy the 6th position with 10 points from six games while West Brom occupies the 4th position with 12 point from the same number of matches.
A win for Scott Parker and his Fulham team at Craven Cottage will take them above West Bromwich Albion in the league standings.
