Match Preview
It’s another Matchday in the Bundesliga as the race for the title race gets more stringent. We take a look at the match preview coming up today with RB Leipzig hosting Werder Bremen.
Leipzig is aiming to put a stop to their winless form as they face a Werder Bremen side in the Bundesliga clash.
The Red Bull side looked uncomfortable in their game against Bayern Munich but improved after the break, but all they could do is claim a point that seems fair, and things remain stagnant at the top of the table.
RB Leipzig manager Julian Naggelsman will want to put an end to the stalemates his team has been having so far. They have played three games in the Bundesliga, which ended in a draw, including their DFB Pokal game, which also ended in a draw.
They will have a chance to get back to winning ways when they host Bremen. Leipzig has been in tremendous form whenever they play on their home ground winning six, drawing three and losing just one – which was against Schalke in September.
Werder Bremen, on the other hand, are experiencing a turmoil in the league as they lost their last game to surprise newcomers in the league – Union Berlin. They have lost nine out of their past eleven matches, which will see their mission for survival become very tough. It will take a miracle and lots of hard work for them to pull a surprise at the Red Bull Arena.
Injury News
Leipzig – Players injured are Kevin Kampl, Orban Ibrahima Konate, and Luan Candido.
Werder Bremen – their injury list remains as long as this losing run with the likes of Pavlenka, Langkamp, Bargfrede, Fullkrug, and Kevin Mohwald.
