Premier League side Bournemouth will start their new 2024/25 Premier League season away from home with a trip to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday, August 17 at 15:00 BST.
The 2024/2025 Premier League season will start a day earlier on Friday, August 16, with Manchester United hosting Fulham at Old Trafford while newly promoted Ipswich Town welcomes Liverpool for the first early Saturday kick-off in the Premier League for the new season.
Bournemouth, who had their best-ever season in the Premier League history in all ramifications last season, have already arranged pre-season friendlies in early August.
Bournemouth’s friendlies are against La Liga sides Rayo Vallecano and Girona at the Vitality Stadium in August. Andoni Iraola will welcome his former club, Rayo Vallecano, on Sunday, August 4, and play La Liga’s surprise package Girona the next weekend on Saturday, August 10.
Other important fixtures for the Cherries include the Boxing Day fixture, where they will host Crystal Palace at Vitality Stadium, while they will end the season with games against Aston Villa, Manchester City, and Leicester City.
Meanwhile, promoted Ipswich Town will play their first game in the Premier League in 22 years at home against Arne Slot’s Liverpool, this will be followed with a trip to champions Manchester City at Etihad stadium.
Fellow newly promoted sides Southampton and Leicester will face Newcastle at St James’s Park and welcome Tottenham to the Saint Mary’s Stadium, respectively.
Meanwhile, champions Manchester City will travel to Stamford Bridge as they hope to win a fifth consecutive Premier League against Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea.
