Bayern Munich and French midfielder Corentin Tolisso have been courted by a lot of Italian clubs.
There has been a lot of uncertainty and doubts as to when the current season [2019/’20] will end, but that has not stopped the Bavarians from being busy ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is expected that Bayern is set to add more quality to their side after owning to make adjustments to their defense during the previous summer.
However, the arrival of new faces may see some players use the exit door with Corentin Tolisso, one of the latest high profile players set for departure this summer. The Club hierarchy is willing to listen to offers for the midfielder if they could get the right price.
This has put some clubs in Italy on alert as they are looking to sign the versatile Frenchman with the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Inter Milan looking to get his signature. There have been further reports that Tolisso is likely to be sold for a fee in the region of €35million.
According to the rank in the Bayern Midfield, Tolisso has found himself down the pecking order under manager Hansi Flick. He has, however, insisted that he is willing to fight for his place in the squad, but as it currently stands, he may be forced to seek his first-team opportunities elsewhere if things fail to change.
Tolisso joined Bayern in the summer of 2017 for a record fee as he enjoyed a stellar campaign helping the team by providing tons of assists and crucial goals from the middle of the park. His performance earned him a spot in the national team, which he went on to win the world cup in Russia 2018.
He kicked off the 2018/19 season with another brilliant performance, but a serious knee injury altered his progress, which saw him ruled out for over six months, and his recovery took a while.
Even when he returned, he found it hard to discover the form prior to his injury. A move away from the Allianz arena might do him a lot of good as he hopes to reignite his form once again.
