As the Spanish La Liga aims to resume the 2019-20 season, players of FC Barcelona will be at the club’s training ground on Wednesday to take a coronavirus test ahead of the planned resumption of the league later in June.
It will be the first time the players will be at the training ground since March when the season was suspended indefinitely.

There are still eleven round of matches to be played in the La Liga, and La Liga president Javier Tebas has stated that he is ready to sanction any team that fails to prosecute its games once the season restarts although all the teams In the La Liga have shown a commitment to completing the season.
However, it is agreed that teams would test their players before they can return to training in the first phase of a four-stage protocol to resuming the league.
Barcelona stated in a statement that the test would go ahead on Wednesday after La Liga had checked and inspected the training facilities and given the green light to test players, albeit individual training will start days after before group and team training.
“The first team will return to the training ground on Wednesday to do the necessary tests before starting individual training in the next few days,” the Spanish champions statement said.
