Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has revealed that he has a clear and precise plan for his career and wants to continue winning titles with the Blaugrana.
The Polish striker reiterated his lack of intentions to leave the club he joined from Bayern Munich in 2022 and managed to win the La Liga title in his first title. Despite the fact that the second season has ended trophyless for Xavi’s team, Lewandowski still believes there’s a lot to achieve with Barcelona.
“Of course, for me, it is super clear. I want to win many titles with Barcelona and I am sure that next season we will be even stronger and we will also win titles. I always want the best, not just for me but for my teammates, and I am sure that this team will win titles next season because I see what we do each day. For me, that is what matters because this a club that I hold close to my heart, and I want to give a lot for the team and the club.” Lewandowski said.
The 35-year-old still has a year left on his contract with Barcelona, although he has always been linked to a move away from Barcelona with Saudi Arabia clubs linked to him. He has 58 goals and bagged 17 assists in 94 matches for Barca to date.
Barcelona has one more game left in La Liga this season, but Real Madrid was confirmed as La Liga champions weeks ago. This is in contrast with last season when Barcelona was the winner, ten points ahead of its biggest rivals.
While Barcelona’s last game of the season is a trip to Seville to face Sevilla in La Liga, Real Madrid will move to the UEFA Champions League final against Dortmund on Saturday, June 1, after playing Real Betis in the final La Liga game this weekend.
