Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that he e could manage French Ligue 1 side PSG if he is contacted although that will be after getting his job done at the Emirates Stadium.
The Spaniard became the manager at the Emirates Stadium last season winning the English FA Cup and the Community Shield in August.
However, despite winning their first two games this season which raised the hopes of the fans, the Gunners have disappointed and become inconsistent.
Arsenal currently sits in ninth position in the Premier League and they had to come from behind in their last league game against West Ham United in a London Derby to get a point.
With European football looking unlikely, the Europa League has become Arsenal’s surest route back into the UEFA Champions League and Arteta has revealed he wouldn’t exit the helms of affairs in North London unless he gets his job done.
“I love Paris, I love Paris, I have very good memories from over there. It was my first club as a professional. The club is always in my heart. You never know but I have a lot of work to do [here at Arsenal].” Arteta said.
Arsenal will face Slavia Praha in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League after beating Olympiacos 3-2 on aggregate in the round of 16.
They will face either Villarreal or Dinamo Zagreb in the semifinals if they get past Slavia Prague who defeated Rangers in the round of sixteen.
Arsenal is already nine points away from the last UEFA Champions League place on the table while they are seven points off the Europa League spot in 5th position.
Meanwhile, a man who was the manager of Arsenal rivals in London is currently the manager at PSG, Mauricio Pochettino currently leads PSG in the French Ligue 1 after leaving Spurs.
