Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti stated that the Las Blancos have to be concerned about the latest results, which climaxed with a disappointing 3-1 loss to the Italian side AC Milan on Tuesday evening. 

Real Madrid were playing their first game since losing 4-0 to arch rivals Barcelona in the El Clasico but looked like a house in disarray as the Italians dismantled the Spanish kings led by a man linked to Barcelona, Portuguese winger Rafael Leao who provided the assist for the second and third strikes for the visitors.

Two back-to-back losses in two different competitions and a poor start to the new UEFA Champions League format have raised concerns for Real Madrid. The Los Blancos lost to Lille in France in their second Champions League fixture before beating Dortmund 5-2, a game they trailed 2-0 at half-time before rallying back.

Although Vinicius Junior equalized in the 23rd minute after AC Milan’s 12th minute lead from Malick Thiaw, Real Madrid conceded just six minutes before half time from former striker Alvaro Morata and a disappointing second half.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed that his team needed more organization and needs to work harder.

“We have to be worried; the team’s not giving a good account of itself. We have to be more compact, more organized; we’ve let in a lot of goals. We’re not well organized on the pitch, and we have to work on that.” said Ancelotti.

Real Madrid will return to La Liga action at the weekend with a home clash with Osasuna. They have to win as they are now 9 points behind Barcelona, who defeated Espanyol 3-1 over the weekend. 

The record UEFA Champions League winners are also in a lowly 17th position with 6 points from four matches played already. Their UEFA Champions League fixture is a trip away to Anfield to play Liverpool on Nov. 27.
