“Once I saw the first one go in, I knew. My team-mates believed in me. Before I hit the first one to go that big streak, my team-mates told me, ‘we need a big play from you, come out and be you.’ [The Raptors] kept leaving me open. A couple of my shots were in and out; I knew they would start falling. Just keep shooting.” Smart was quoted saying.
Since the NBA restart in the bubble, the Celtics are 3-0 up against the Raptors, making it 5-1 overall this season, and they will play the 3rd game of their Eastern Conference semi-final series on Thursday.
Jayson Tatum scored 34 points while Smart Walker and Jay brown scored 19 points, 17, 16 for the Celtics, respectively.
Meanwhile, Luka Doncic and Los Angeles Clippers Marcus Morris have both been fined for infringements has announced on Wednesday by Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations, Kiki VanDeWeghe.
Luka Doncic was fined $15,000 after he threw the ball off a game official’s legs while Marcus Morris was fined for his challenge on Luka Doncic, where he hit the Dallas Mavericks guard above the shoulder.
The incident happened in Dallas Mavericks 111 – 97 loss to LA Clippers.
