It was a beautiful Sunday in Chicago as NBA stars took on each other, divided into two camps – Team LeBron and Team Giannis. It was 4 quarters of action as the star-studded teams brought their all to the game.
The final scoreline was 157-155, as Team LeBron led the other side with just 2 points. One thing no one can deny is that both sides put in enough work to make the game filled with action to the very end.
The game was a power tussle as the two teams sought to dominate each other as each quarter ended. During the first quarter, Team Lebron was not short of goals as every player made a 3-point shot. Kawhi Leonard did good for the LeBron side, scoring 12 points and being instrumental in the team’s lead as they ended the quarter with 53 while the Giannis side made 41 points.
In the second quarter, things turned around as the Greek Freak took his team higher, scoring 14 points. Team Lebron did not relent as Kawhi pushed his team forward, making 13 points. By the half time, Team Giannis was dominating, leading 92-86.
The third quarter was another spectacular show as Team Giannis fought hard to retain their top position, although both teams were tied at a point. The fourth quarter was the real decider, seeing Team LeBron race to the top, winning the match with just two points, thanks to a free throw by Anthony Davis. One of the interesting parts of this quarter was when LeBron had his shot blocked by Giannis very close to the rim.
After the game, Kawhi Leonard was presented with the “Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP” award, as he finished with the highest point, making 30 in total with seven rebounds.
Giannis was the second highest with 25 points, as LeBron followed with 23 points. The game was one of the best fans of the NBA had witnessed in a long while. Once again, people were once again reminded of Kobe and how he loved this particular game, and it was very obvious in the way the players played that they were embracing everything Kobe was about.
