The NBA revealed its Most Valuable Player of the seeding games on Saturday, and Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard won the award.
The Guard got 110 points in the votes to beat Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, who had 58 points, as the runaway winner.
The newly voted MVP for the Seeding games in the NBA bubble had 31 points in the team’s last win against Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference play-in.
Portland Trail Blazers had a 6-2 record in the seeding games, and he averaged 37.6 points and 9.6 assists all through the seeding games.
Up next for the Trail Blazers is a game against Los Angeles Lakers in the first round playoffs, and he will want to build on his impressive showing in the 126-122 victory over Memphis Grizzlies where he had 31 points and 10 assists on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams was named as the coach of the seeding games after leading the team to an unbeaten 8-0 record in the bubble. He had 20 out of the 21 votes with 103 points.
The regular NBA awards will be given out this season with reigning MVP and Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo in the running for a second straight title.
